Below are discussion questions to ask yourself as you are reading and to bring up to others in your organization/networks. 1) What characteristics make communities environmentally sustainable and inclusive? What are potential synergies and conflicts between inclusivity and environmental sustainability? 2) What are some examples of connecting inclusivity to environmental sustainability you've seen in your local community? Do you have any ideas on how environmental sustainability and inclusion can be encouraged in your community?

Below are discussion questions to ask yourself as you are reading and to bring up to others in your organization/networks. 1) Reflect on the "Iceberg Model". What aspects in the Deep Culture section are part of your organizational culture and work environment? Are these aspects multicultural / inclusive of many cultures or homogenous? 2) Can your organization use any of the examples in the Cultural Precompetence and Competence sections to be more inclusive? 3) Can you come up with any other ways to make your work environment inclusive?

Below are discussion questions to ask yourself as you are reading and to bring up to others in your organization/networks. 1) Try to do an "inventory" in these 10 areas for yourself and your organization. 2) Which areas of the 5 Cs of Change are your organization doing well? Which areas could use some improvement? 3) Reflect on the "fundamental questions about human identity and experience" on page 2.

Please read the article: "How to diversify environmentalism? The movement’s greatest challenge is its own lack of diversity?" by Marcelo Bonta. Below are activities/discussion questions to think about as you read this article and to share with your organization/networks. The article can be found at the link below. 1)In his Strategy to Diversify, Bonta names four major areas on which we must focus in order to initiate effective change. Which of these areas is our organization doing well already? In which areas do we have room for improvement?; 2) Is diversity a priority of our organization? If not, how do we go about engaging our leader(s) in this work? If so, what steps are we taking towards the goal of organizational inclusiveness?; 3) Who are our allies in diversity work? What relationships do we have with communities and organizations of color?
