Enos Mills Lifetime Achievement Award
One individual is acknowledged annually for significant achievement and contributions to the field of environmental education as the recipient of the Enos Mills Award. This award commemorates the 19th century naturalist in the Estes Park area, Enos Mills, whose vision, photographs and writings were largely responsible for the decision by Congress in 1915 to establish Rocky Mountain National Park. Like Enos Mills, the award recipient has demonstrated leadership and commitment to the field of E.E. through a body of work.
Outstanding Retiring Educators Award
Outstanding environmental educators who have retired (or are retiring) from their professional role in education, and whose contributions to the field of environmental education deserve recognition?
