Find the resources that best meet your needs
CAEE and EE-Link have created an online system to connect those who provide quality environmental education with those who are looking for environmental education resources.
The resource review system is part of this EE Information Clearinghouse ( http://www.caee.org/ee-directory.html).
How do I access reviews?
- Connect to the EE Directory
- Search for a program by selecting any of the available searches ( keyword search, program search, event search) on the left side of the screen.
- Select search criteria and click on "Search" at the bottom of the page.
- The system will return a list of programs and/or organizations that meet the criteria you selected. The NPEEE symbol will appear next to any programs that have been reviewed.
- Click on the REVIEW symbol to see the review.
What does the information in the review tell me? An environmental education provider creates an organizational and program profile on the EE Directory and then completes a self-review of this resource according to national guidelines for excellence in environmental education. This self-review is then reviewed by three peers. A final review indicating which guidelines have been addressed is then posted with the program profile on the the EE information Clearinghouse on the CAEE website (
http://www.caee.org/ee-directory.html). Use the reviews as another layer of information to find the best resources for your needs.
Note: CAEE is not responsible for collecting or updating program performance evaluation information, however if the submitter takes the initiative to document program performance evaluations (e.g., performance assessments, periodic pre/post tests, site visits by an objective evaluator, evaluations for learner effectiveness, etc.), this online system will attempt to provide access to this information through an electronic link to the submitter's website.
